Below is a list of questions and answers for the 411BDSM.com community.

I signed up on 411bdsm but didn't receive a confirmation letter.

When signing up on 411bdsm, you will receive a confirmation letter to the email address you signed up with. if you didn't receive your letter, check your spam filters or spam inbox. If you still can not find your confirmation, just send us an email to contact@411bdsm.com with your email address you signed up with and we will verify it manually. If you do not verify your account within 5 days, your account is subject for deletion.

My Profile is marked Banned.

There are several reasons a profile can be banned.

#1 is spamming on the site

#2 you have not verified your age as an adult on this site.

#3 You are under disciplinary action for a violation of the Terms and Conditions

How can you verify your age?

There are several ways to verify your age on the site.

#1 You can go to the subscribe button and verify thorugh Pay Pal - This is a ONE time process.

#2 You can be verified thorugh someone else on the site who knows you and is already verified. Email screen name of this person or their email address to contact@411bdsm.com to verify who you are. They will be contacted. Upon verification the ban will be lifted and your membership upgraded.

#3 You are a paid member of another BDSM site, send your profile name to contact@411bdsm.com so we can confirm you are an adult through another site. Collarme profile does NOT count as verification since they do not follow strict guidlines to verify people on their site.

#4 You belong and can be verified by a local or national BDSM group. Sending information to contact@411bdsm.com for verification and whom we contact to do this.

My account has been deleted from the site.

This can be caused by several reasons.

#1 You have never signed into the site within 30 days of signing up on the site. To save space, bandwidth and clean out our databases, your profile was deleted from the system from inactivity. You will have to sign back up again.

#2 Your account became inactive because there was no activity from the time you signed up. You can prevent this from happening by signing up again and participating from time to time on the site. You will also gain points and look to others as an active participant on the site, which can help you within your first two weeks of signing up, upgrade your status on the site.

#3 Your email in your account settings is incorrect or no longer active

I would like to advertise on the site.

Advertising is encouraged on the site if you have an outside link to another personal site. However there are two conditions we ask of you.

#1] You must first be a gold member in order to advertise. This verifies you are of legal age and have the right to be here in the first place.

#2] This is a community site and evolves around participation so we ask that you advertise your site in your profile and as a signature while participating in forums, group, blogs or any other discussion on the site with others.

Any others specifically advertising on here are literally a commercial page for another website and will be removed or banned until content is changed.

Any banner placement advertising must be approved by the admin and offer something for the 411BDSM community.

What is a subscription?

A subscription is a donation to the community site you are involved with. This helps maintain the site, pay for hosting, upgrades etc to keep YOUR community site going. This is a non-profit site and any donations go back to the community on extra features and maintanence of the site such as hosting. Anyone donating a GOLD subscription will receive a donation recognition badge to your profile as a community contributor.

I would like to subscribe but do not want to pay through Pay pal.

Not a problem. Just send us your request at contact@411bdsm.com and we will allow you to pay by money order. Verification of payment along with your sign up name is neccessary before upgrading your membership.

How can I become involved?

This is a community website. When you sign up on 411BDSM you already become involved. If you wish to volunteer extra services, contact the admin of the site at contact@411bdsm.com .

What are Recognition Badges?

These are community badges earned by participating members on the site to recognize acheivements they do for the community. You can earn them to by being an active participator on the site. This means creating and running a group, presentator for online classes, earning stars on the site by actively posting in blogs, forums, comments, etc. We enjoy handing out badges!

Who runs this website?

YOU DO! This site was set up not by commercial vendors but REAL people in the BDSM lifestyle. The site is a tool to be ran by participating members...which is you, your friends, your partners, etc.

Participation is the key element here. you can start discussions, make friends, join a group, start a group, sell items in the classifieds, create polls and quizes, design your own pages, list calendar events, invite others, etc. The list goes on and on as you want to manage and participate on the 411BDSM website.

The site is monitored and decisions are made by Lifestyle Board of Directors. All living in the BDSM lifestyle and participate on here regularly.

How do I report mis-conduct, offensive behavior or minors on this site?

You report any of the following to the administator fo the site - screen name bdsm411 or directly to contact@411bdsm.com - The issue will be looked into and handled appropriately.

How do I change my profile, delete, or customize my profile?

Why do I keep receiving a message saying my mailbox is full?

I can't view certain parts of the site, like galleries, videos or some forum topics, how do I unblock these to view?
